The Rubaiyat Of Omar Khayyam has been recited by Mr. Reynolds more than seventy years. One might call it, his signature piece.
We’ve grown to know him as a father, visionary, patriarch, trailblazer, soliloquist, role model, educator… friend. Not to mention the family’s intense drive to preserve and restore Isham Park – a determination which persisted, through Mr. Reynolds’ efforts, for a span of fifty years. More noteable is the legacy of Bruce’s Garden, our neighborhood oasis.
Most have forgotten the impact the Reynolds family has had these past fifty years or why Isham Park looks the way it does today. Things pass. Histories are rewritten…
On this day, we celebrate Mr. Renyolds as he recites a most noted work of art, The Rubaiyat. Help us celebrate our Honored Neighbor & Friend.
